Crispy Cajun Fries
Ingredients:
3 large russet potatoes, cut into thin fries
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon dried oregano
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon white pepper
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/4 teaspoon sugar (for balance)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Soak the cut potatoes in cold water for 30 minutes to remove excess starch. Drain and pat dry with a towel.
In a large bowl, toss the fries with olive oil and all the seasonings until evenly coated.
Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
Bake for 30-35 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce. Enjoy!
