Garlic Butter Steak and Shrimp 🍤🥩

Ingredients:

For the Steak:

2 ribeye or strip steaks

2 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tsp fresh thyme (optional)

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Shrimp:

1/2 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp butter

2 garlic cloves, minced

1/2 tsp paprika

Salt and pepper to taste

For the Creamy Sauce:

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup beef broth

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

Prepare the Steak:

Season steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.

Sear steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, then add butter, garlic, and thyme. Spoon the melted butter over the steaks while cooking for an extra minute.

Remove steaks from the skillet and let them rest.

Cook the Shrimp:

In the same skillet, melt butter over medium heat.

Add garlic and sauté until fragrant, then add shrimp.

Sprinkle with paprika, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until shrimp are pink and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

Make the Creamy Sauce:

Reduce heat to medium and add beef broth to the skillet, scraping up the browned bits.

Stir in heavy cream, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Simmer for 3-4 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.

Assemble:

Return the steaks and shrimp to the skillet, spooning the sauce over the top.

Garnish with fresh parsley.

Serve & Enjoy: Pair this rich and flavorful dish with mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or a side of crusty bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
