- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 carrot, grated
- 2–3 green onion stalks, chopped
- 1 egg
- 100 g grated cheese (e.g., cheddar)
- 4 tablespoons flour
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Boil the diced potatoes in salted water until fork-tender. Drain well and mash until smooth.

- Cook for 3–4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crisp.
- Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with sour cream, Greek yogurt, or your favorite dipping sauce.
Tips & Variations
- Swap tuna with cooked salmon or shredded chicken for a twist.
- Add herbs like parsley or dill for extra freshness.
- Air-fry or bake for a healthier version.
