Chicken Served with Buttered Noodles
Ingredients:
– 2 cups egg noodles
– 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts
– 4 tbsp butter
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 tsp Italian seasoning
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Start by cooking the egg noodles according to the instructions on the package. Once they’re done, drain them and set them aside. Next, take a large skillet and melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Season your chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning, then add them to the skillet. Cook the chicken until it’s golden brown, which should take about 6-7 minutes per side. Once cooked, remove the chicken and slice it up.
In the same skillet where you cooked the chicken, add the remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté the garlic until it gives off a lovely fragrance. Then, toss in the cooked noodles and stir them around to coat them in the buttery garlic mixture.
Finally, serve the noodles with the sliced chicken on top and a generous sprinkle of chopped parsley for a fresh garnish. Enjoy your meal!
