Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds ground beef
- 2 cups cooked white rice
- 1 can (10.75 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Cook the beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned. Drain excess grease if necessary.
- Mix the casserole: In a large bowl, combine the cooked ground beef, cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, milk, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until fully mixed.
- Assemble: Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
- Bake: Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese on top is melted and bubbly.
- Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley if desired. Serve hot and enjoy!
