Crispy Fried Cheese Sticks
Crunchy on the outside, melty on the inside—these golden cheese sticks are the ultimate snack, served with a creamy ranch dip!
Ingredients:
For the Cheese Sticks:
8 mozzarella cheese sticks (or cheddar)
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
1 cup panko breadcrumbs
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp smoked paprika
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
2 cups vegetable oil (for frying)
For the Ranch Dipping Sauce:
½ cup ranch dressing
1 tsp hot sauce (optional)
1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
Instructions:
Prepare the Breading Station:
Place flour in one bowl.
In another bowl, beat the eggs.
Mix panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a third bowl.
Coat the Cheese Sticks:
Dredge each cheese stick in flour, dip into the beaten eggs, then coat in the breadcrumb mixture.
Repeat the egg and breadcrumb coating for an extra crispy layer.
Freeze Before Frying:
Place coated cheese sticks on a tray and freeze for 30 minutes to prevent cheese from leaking while frying.
Fry to Perfection:
Heat vegetable oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C).
Fry cheese sticks in batches for 1-2 minutes until golden brown.
Remove and drain on a paper towel.
Serve & Enjoy:
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with ranch dipping sauce drizzled with hot sauce.
