Steak Bites and Fettuccine in Garlic Butter Sauce
Savor a plate full of deliciousness with these steak bites and fettuccine, perfectly coated in a rich garlic butter sauce! Your taste buds are in for a treat!
Ingredients:
– 1 lb steak (ribeye, sirloin, or your choice), cut into bite-sized cubes
– 8 oz fettuccine pasta
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/2 cup beef broth
– 4 tbsp unsalted butter, divided
– 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
– 1 tsp dried thyme
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions:
1. Start by cooking the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Once cooked, drain and set aside for later.
2. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium-high heat. Season the cubed steak with salt and pepper. Add the steak to the hot skillet and sear until browned on all sides, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the browned steak from the skillet and set it aside.
3. In the same skillet, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and reduce the heat to medium. Once melted, add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
4. Pour in the beef broth, scraping up any delicious browned bits from the bottom of the skillet. Allow it to simmer for 3-4 minutes to reduce slightly.
5. Stir in the heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, and dried thyme. Continue to simmer for another 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally until the sauce has thickened to your liking.
6. Gently add the cooked steak bites back into the skillet along with the cooked fettuccine. Toss everything together until the pasta is well-coated in the savory garlic butter sauce.
7. Finish off the dish with a sprinkle of freshly chopped parsley for garnish and serve immediately for a delightful meal!
