Mega Bacon & Cheese Croissant Sandwich Recipe
Ingredients
Croissant:
1 large croissant
Filling:
6 slices of deli-style pastrami or beef salami
2 slices cheddar cheese
Optional Toppings:
Honey mustard or mayonnaise for flavor
Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Cook Bacon:
Fry the bacon slices in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Prepare Pastrami:
Heat pastrami or beef salami slices briefly in a skillet for a warm, flavorful touch.
Toast the Croissant:
Slice the croissant in half and lightly toast in a skillet with a little butter until golden and crisp.
Melt the Cheese:
Place cheddar cheese slices on the bottom half of the croissant. Heat it in the skillet or microwave for a few seconds until melty.
Assemble the Sandwich:
Layer the crispy bacon generously on top of the melted cheese.
Add the warmed pastrami or salami slices on top of the bacon.
Optional: Drizzle honey mustard or mayonnaise for an extra kick.
Close the sandwich with the top half of the croissant.
