German Chocolate Poke Cake
Ingredients:
1 box chocolate cake mix
1 cup water
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 jar (12 oz) caramel sauce
1 cup shredded coconut
1 cup chopped pecans
1 container (8 oz) whipped topping
1/2 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C) and prepare a 9×13-inch baking dish with non-stick spray.
2. In a large bowl, mix the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth .
3. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and bake according to package directions .
4. Once baked, remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes .
5. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake .
6. Pour the sweetened condensed milk evenly over the cake, followed by the caramel sauce .
7. Sprinkle the shredded coconut and chopped pecans on top .
8. Spread the whipped topping evenly over the entire cake .
9. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving .
