Homemade Cookie Dough Brownie Bombs
A bite-sized indulgence that combines fudgy brownies with irresistible cookie dough, all coated in chocolate! These treats are the ultimate dessert explosion.
For the Brownie Layer:
1 box brownie mix (or your favorite homemade recipe), baked and cooled
1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
For the Cookie Dough Filling:
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour (heat-treated for safety)
1/2 cup mini chocolate chips
For the Chocolate Coating:
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tbsp coconut oil or shortening
Instructions:
Prepare the Brownie Layer:
Bake your brownies according to the package or recipe instructions. Let them cool completely, then crumble into small pieces.
Make the Cookie Dough:
In a bowl, beat the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
Add milk and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth.
Gradually mix in the heat-treated flour and stir in mini chocolate chips.
Assemble the Bombs:
Scoop about 1 tablespoon of cookie dough and roll it into a ball. Flatten a small amount of brownie around the cookie dough ball to cover it completely. Repeat with the remaining dough and brownies.
Coat in Chocolate:
Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and coconut oil in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
Dip each brownie bomb into the melted chocolate, ensuring it’s fully coated. Place on parchment paper to set.
Chill and Serve:
Refrigerate the brownie bombs until the chocolate hardens. Serve chilled or at room temperature for a gooey center!
One bite and you’ll be hooked!
