Spicy Chilli Garlic Chicken Wings

Ingredients

1 kg Chicken wings, wings and drumettes separated 1/2 tbsp each of the following -All purpose seasoning, garlic granules and onion granules

1 tbsp Smoked paprika
1/2 tsp Cayenne pepper
1 tbsp Baking powder
1 tbsp Cornflour

For the sauce
30g Unsalted butter
10g Garlic, finely chopped
1 tbsp Chilli oil
1 tbsp Light soy sauce
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Paprika

Garnish
Crispy onions
Chilli flakes (if you can handle it
Method

Step 1 – In a large bowl, add the chicken wings. Next add all of the listed ingredients for the wings. Mix and coat well.

Step 2 Set your air fryer to 190c, for 20 minutes. Spray the tray with a little oil and place the chicken wings in a single layer. Now spray the wings with a little oil. Half way through the cooking cycle, turn the wings. Once the cooking cycle is done, check the wings are cooked through.

Step 3- 5 minutes before the cooking cycle is up In a pan, on low medium heat, add the butter, once melted, add the garlic and sauté until golden and crisp. Now add the soy sauce, chilli oil and sugar. Stir to combine and simmer for 1 minute. Now add the paprika and stir. Remove from the heat.

Step 4 – Place the wings in a large bowl, pour the butter sauce over them and toss well to coat. Top with crispy onions and serve! Enjoy
