I made the Levain Bakery NYC cookies today

I made the Levain Bakery NYC cookies today and I must say we’re a fan! I followed the recipe exactly to see if there was anything I wanted to change if I made them again. If you’re looking to try them these were really good. I made my dough 5oz each and baked for about 10 minutes at 410 degrees. I cooked right after mixing, no chill time. I used the recipe from Modern Honey.

1 cup Cold Butter cut into small cubes

1 cup Brown Sugar

1/2 cup Sugar

2 Eggs

1 1/2 cups Cake Flour

1 1/2 cups Flour

1 teaspoon Cornstarch

3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda

3/4 teaspoon Salt

2 cups Chocolate Chips

2 cups Walnuts roughly chopped

Cream butter and sugar for 4 minutes on medium speed

Add egg one at a time and mix thoroughly

Add dry ingredients

Fold in chocolate chips and walnuts

Make dough into 10 5 oz balls

Bake at 410 degrees Fahrenheit for 9-12 minutes
