Orange Creamsicle Truffles

Orange Creamsicle Truffles

Yields: About 20 truffles

Ingredients:

1 cup white chocolate chips

½ cup orange zest

¼ cup orange juice

½ cup powdered sugar

Instructions:

Melt the Chocolate: In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the white chocolate chips in 30-second increments, stirring in between, until smooth and fully melted.

Add Orange Flavor: Stir in the orange zest and orange juice until well incorporated.

Chill the Mixture: Cover the bowl and refrigerate for about 2 hours, or until the mixture is firm enough to handle.

Roll the Truffles: Use a teaspoon to scoop out small portions of the chilled mixture and roll them into balls.

Coat in Powdered Sugar: Roll each truffle in powdered sugar until fully coated.

Serve or Store: Serve immediately, or store the truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Tips:

For a stronger orange flavor, add a few drops of orange extract in addition to the zest and juice.

You can substitute milk or dark chocolate chips for white chocolate for a different flavor.

If the mixture is too soft to roll, refrigerate for an additional 10-15 minutes.
